Clayton discusses his early political career, his personal political philosophy, his quest for the house speakership, personal observations of former Speakers Byron Tunnell, Ben Barnes, Gus Mutscher, Rayford Price, Price Daniel, Jr., the appointment of committee chairs, disposition if budget surplus, public school financing, public utilities regulation, and constitutional revision.
